For myself, I love the perfume Navy! I'm not sure who makes it exactly, but it smells wonderful! As far as a man's cologne goes, I love Avatar. I'm not sure how to spell that exactly, and JAWS isn't pronouncing it right, but you probably get the gist of what I'm trying to say. LOL

Post 5 by Miss Gorgeous (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Saturday, 10-Dec-2005 22:20:39

Bvlgari Extreme is my favorite women's and Armani Code Black is my favorite of men's.

Post 7 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Monday, 12-Dec-2005 9:05:23

Lynx wild ginger or the new one by Armani, the name eludes me right now, even though I'm wearing it. smile

Post 8 by Emerald-Hourglass (Account disabled) on Monday, 12-Dec-2005 16:50:39

perfume for women: I wear ither Ralph, tommygurl or the new one by Shania twain. for guys, chanel Alleur, ax, and mesmorized are tops. true star is also really good for girls. I'm a fragnence friek!

Post 9 by icequeen (move over school!) on Monday, 12-Dec-2005 18:41:14

Now you've got me curious goblin, what the latest is by Armani. I hadn't heard anything came out since Code Black earlier this year. I also like the Agua by Armani but the rest are nothing special imo.

Post 10 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Thursday, 15-Dec-2005 8:31:26

That was it code black could I remember the name. I hope it's not a sign of early on set, senile dementia, smile cheers.

I usually wear Romance, or Heaven. Though i don't do guys i would have to say a guy smells best in Polo or Very Sexy For Him

Post 13 by SensuallyNaturallyLiving4Today (LivingLifeAndLovingItToo) on Monday, 06-Feb-2006 16:00:49

I don't much care for Elizabeth Arden's Sunflowers; it's far too sickey sweet for me. I have smelled it on other people though, from a distance and liked it quite a bit. I love clinique, all of my make up and hand and facial skin care products are by their line. Happy is all right, but again, too fruity for my body chemestry. I prefer Happy To Be. It's not their latest, but it is relletively new. I believe it was new as of early summer or late spring of 2005. I where Happy to be in the spring and summer, and Kennith Coal's Black, or is that Blaque, I don't know which, , in the autumn and winter months. I also used to like Wind Song, but I find that I like it better on my Aunt Jean, than on myself. I don't know much about men's colones, but I do like English Leather. My mother wheres Charley Blue, but she once baught Charley Red by mistake, and I liked that quite a bit more. She said that she hated it and that it gave her a head ache, so into the trash it went. What a waste, a forty-five dollar bottle, right into the kitchen trash bin.

Post 14 by SensuallyNaturallyLiving4Today (LivingLifeAndLovingItToo) on Monday, 06-Feb-2006 16:11:56

Who makes Romance, and also Heaven? I've heard the names, but don't know where to go to sample them, or what line they are from. Wait, now that I think about it, is Heaven by Victoria Secret? I seem to remember my room mate at Guiding Eyes using something called Heaven. Does it have sort of a muskey, warm, vanilla type scent? I've never heard of Navy, but perhaps it is made by Dolce and Gabbana, as they make Light Blue. Light Blue, Navy Blue? rofl I'm so out of touch, as I've never heard of
Bvlgari Extreme, either. I like Tommy Girl on other people, but it's too sweet, and too yung of a scent for me. I just don't feel comfortable wearing it. I should check out Armani Code Black and Agua, seeing as I like most Armani clothing.

Post 15 by Blue Velvet (I've got the platinum golden silver bronze poster award.) on Tuesday, 07-Feb-2006 8:32:24

I love Fendi, Burbury for women (not sure about spelling), and one by Escada called Sport Spirit or something like that. LOL. I'm always trying out different fragrances and never stick with one for very long because there are just so many out there to try, both old and new ones.

Post 16 by Texas Shawn (The cute, cuddley, little furr ball) on Tuesday, 07-Feb-2006 12:01:58

realm, echo, or hmmm.. can't remember the names of the others but there good!

Post 17 by sugar (Entertain me. I dare you.) on Tuesday, 07-Feb-2006 15:53:09

Give me the world's welth and I'll go and spend it on perfume. I am the original perfume freak. There are so many! And they're great for different reasons. One though, that was kinda cheap, was pure cotton by the body shop. They stopped making it a while ago, it was beautiful, and I'm very annoyed. Currently in to YSL cinema and Calvin Kline obsession night. Vasarchi Red Jeans is yummy too. Don't get me started, I'll be here all day. Need some D and G blue though... Or Guchi rush. However, apparently, there are more important things to be spending my money on at the moment. Shame that......

"light blue" by "Dolche gabana". I love that stuff. But it is so expensive. But I still love it there is no other.

Post 19 by SensuallyNaturallyLiving4Today (LivingLifeAndLovingItToo) on Sunday, 19-Feb-2006 20:28:41

Ah, more scents that I've never heard of by yet more designers and lines that I've never heard of. Is Dolche Gabana an Italian line? I don't know if it was a typo or if it is truly spelled D O L C H E, because if it is really D O L C E, than it is the Italian word for sweet. Phonetically in English D O L C E would be pronounced as Dol-chay, just as it is in Italian, but I can see where English spelling patterns could lead someone to mis-spell it. Can anyone reccomend a scent that is based primarily on tea roses or simply on roses? It is my favorite scent, but short of dabbing rose or tea rose esential oils behind my ears I can't do much for that weakness for roses. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Post 20 by Resonant (Find me alive.) on Monday, 20-Feb-2006 2:53:33

Well, I'm not a perfume guru, but there's actually a lot you can do with the rose essential oil. The good stuff, it's expensive, but it goes a very long way and it's worth it. Have you tried adding it to a massage oil? Or a body lotion. You can start with an inexpensive scent-free base like sorbalene cream, and add whichever oils you like. A blend is nice, but if it's just the rose scent you're looking for.... There's lighter bases available, but they tend to be more expensive. And I'm sure I've seen rose-scented body-sprays and such, but not an actual perfume. Still, I'm sure it's out there.

My favourite perfumes would be Hugo Woman, Hypnose, Oceanus from Bodyshop and Beyonce's True Star. I collect loads of perfumes and bath smellies and toiletries and they've almost taken over my bedroom with 400 odd cassette tapes and almost ad many CDs.

Post 28 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Sunday, 22-Apr-2007 18:29:18

Actually, that last one is the only one I have from Victoria's Secret, but I know there are others.

Post 29 by The Giggling Cowboy (Veteran Zoner) on Monday, 30-Apr-2007 20:43:35

For what I personally wear, I like Axe or Ralph Loren's Polo and Polo Romance, oh and Polo Blue (I think it's called).

Post 30 by worthless shitface (Account disabled) on Tuesday, 08-May-2007 19:58:44

I don't regularly where cologne, but when i do, i like old spice for some reason and i have several other bottles in the closet that i have no clue what they are. my brother used to wear brute or however they spelled it

Post 31 by Harp (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Tuesday, 08-May-2007 20:27:05

Jean Paul Gaultier for men or women is fantastic. Oddly though it doesn't seem to be widely available here in the US for some reason. my wife has managed to find a store that stocks it but it is a specialist store that deals exclusively in fragrances. None of the big chains seem to carry it. Certainly not in this part of Illinois anyway.

Dan.

Post 32 by jessmonsilva (Taking over the boards, one topic at a time.) on Tuesday, 08-May-2007 21:07:31

My favorite perfumes are sunflower, tommy girl, jovan musk: and I probably spelled that wrong lol. oh and I like polo sport for women. Favorite men's cologne, polo sport, joop, and curv. Curv just turns me on when a man wears it, mmmmm!

Post 33 by VolcanicAsh (Zone BBS Addict) on Tuesday, 08-May-2007 21:40:02

As far as women's perfumes, I wear Curve Crush and like it. My friend wears Paris Hilton and I like that too (no indication of liking the celeb though). As for men, I'm a traditionalist, Old Spice, Curve, and Ax(in moderation. those guys who bathe in the shit are nasty!)

Post 34 by soaring eagle (flying high again!) on Thursday, 31-May-2007 13:36:44

Brian

Post 35 by Nem (I just keep on posting!) on Thursday, 31-May-2007 13:51:10

Agreed with Brian on the women's perfumes. I only like the sweet smelling ones though. I have taken a likeness to Antonio Bandares (or however you spell that) as a colone. Raw vanilla from Avon is nice, and so is wild country. Tommy, and Calvin Kline, as well as,Curve and Stetson is also nice. Adidas, is another and of corse can't forget Cool Water. I think that's it.

Nem

Post 36 by redgirl34 (Scottish) on Thursday, 31-May-2007 14:50:29

I like cool water, charlie gold, but the perfumme I am using at the moment is True Glow by Avon. As for mens I like Links. Of course I don't know which is which in the links But there is one prtickular one hat I like.

Post 37 by Eleni21 (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Friday, 18-Jan-2008 22:41:25

I also like Cool Water, which I just got this year as a birthday present. It's all natural, which made me very happy. In general though, I mostly wear colognes for men, like Witness, Curve, Aspin and one that I can't remember right now and CK1, which is for both. I honestly have alot of colognes in my drawer but don't wear them too often.

Post 38 by Shadow_Cat (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Friday, 18-Jan-2008 23:47:35

I like one called Bodacious, which you can buy at City Looks salons.

Post 39 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Saturday, 02-Aug-2008 14:28:08

Now, I'm obsessed with a scent called Wild Honysuckle from bath and Bodyworks. I got a couple of small bottles of it before I left for training with my new guide dog.

Post 40 by renegade rocker (I just keep on posting!) on Saturday, 02-Aug-2008 18:09:57

Post 42 by GreenTurtle (Music is life. Love. Vitality.) on Tuesday, 05-Aug-2008 13:36:23

For me, my favorite scent is Adidas, it has a nice clean scent. I also like Sunflower but I only wear that once in awhile because I get sick of it if I wear it too much. For guys, I love the smell of Mesmerize, that's the one my boyfriend wears. MMMMM, it smells so good. There's also a few Ax ones I like, but can't think of them off the top of my head.

Post 45 by Click_Clash (No Average Angel) on Saturday, 18-Oct-2008 12:37:01

Ooooh wow... I'm a fragrance addict, so it's gonna be incredibly difficult to limit my list to just a few. I'm not as big into colognes as I am body sprays (such as from Bath & Body Works), but I do like Chocolate Fondue by Tutti Dolci, Moonflower by The Body Shop, CK1, and one that's been around for years and years and that I'm not sure is even made anymore, which I believe is called Amalitsa. My favorite body sprays are Japanese Cherry Blossom by Bath & Body works, Juniper Breeze by Bath & Body Works, Strawberries and Champagne by Victoria's Secret, Coconut Sorbet by Calgon, Vanilla Swirl by Calgon, Lavender by Healing Garden, Curve Crush, and Raspberry Fantasy by Simply Basic. lol-Told ya there were a lot!
